The Best Tennis Rackets
75There are many factors that can affect your tennis game, and your racket is by far the most important. If you're using a bad racket you'll never be satisfied with your game and will never reach your full potential. I organize rackets into three different categories: beginner, intermediate, and expert.
Also if you're unsure about how to choose the right racket, check out how with my other hub, How to Choose the Right Tennis Racket.
Beginner Rackets
Use a beginner racket if, obviously, you're a beginner. If you haven't quite developed good technique or skill yet, these are the right rackets for you. These rackets have many factors that attribute to easier play for beginners and are mainly made to improve your game. They are light, to easily allow fast swing speeds, they have large heads to easily allow contact, and they are head heavy to give extra power to shots. Because all these rackets are very similar, I won't go into extraordinary detail on each one and will only highlight its main features.
Babolat Y 118 - At 9.6 ounces it is very light, has a giant head (118 sq. inches), and very head heavy.
Head Youtek Three Star - Same attributes as Babolat Y 18. Is equipped with Youtek technology, making shots feel more solid.
Wilson K Factor KThree.FX - Very light, big head, head heavy, and very flexible, which makes hitting very comfortable.
